Here is my finalized schedule for travels this summer. I just finished booking everything today.
School ended a couple of weeks ago. Before the end, I went to Cinque Terre in Italy. It is this really cool group of towns that are built into the cliffs over the ocean. While I was there, I went on a boat tour of the towns, walked around the biggest town, ate at a restaurant on the cliff overlooking the ocean, and read for a while in a café. School ended well. I got better grades than I was expecting.
After school ended, I went to Stuttgart to my cousin’s house. I met up with my sister there and we went to Amsterdam, Oslo, and Tromsø. In Amsterdam, we just biked around the city and went to the Van Gogh Museum. In Oslo we went to the statue garden and the Viking Ship Museum and we went to a restaurant that overlooked the whole city. In Tromsø we went to the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum (The Art Museum of Northern Norway), we went to Ersfjorden and hiked along some of the fjords over there, where we saw what I think were some young reindeer, we saw the Constitution Day festival on May 17, where they had many parades, and we hung out around the city and went to some other museums. We were supposed to go kayaking on the day we left, but the weather got too rough and we couldn’t.
I am back in Stuttgart now hanging out with my cousin and I leave for Berlin on Sunday, where I will see my big from my fraternity who studied there this semester and is living there over the summer.
